Is the remittance a percentage of sales, a fixed PAD, or a hybrid?
You’ll usually see one of these:
- Percentage of sales (split-funding)
- A fixed percentage of card batches goes directly to the funder
- Payments flex up or down with your revenue
- Fixed PAD (pre-authorized debit)
- A set amount is pulled daily or weekly from your bank account
- Easier for budgeting if your sales are steady
- Hybrid
- A smaller fixed PAD plus a smaller percentage of sales
- Or a seasonal structure where PADs/holdbacks adjust at certain times of year
The “best” method is simply the one that matches your real-world cash flow.
